Welcome class of 2028! I am excited for you to join me on The Great Math Adventure this year! I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

The quickest way to get in touch with me is via the remind app. This is great to use when you have a question about an assignment or homework. We will take some time to sign up for Remind the first day of class, but if you get a new phone over the course of the year, there will be a link posted in google classroom to join as well!  I will also send out announcements, homework reminders, and hints to bonus questions through Remind. You are also welcome to email me at [email protected].

I usually check messages until around 10:00 PM each night.

Georgia DOE Resources

This year, Georgia has introduced new math standards, including the new course Algebra Concepts and Connections. For the most up-to-date resources, please visit the state DOE website on the new math standards. You may also view the GaDOE parent letter below.

If I'm not in the math classroom, you will likely find me outdoors. Besides the wonder that is math, I also love hiking, camping, backpacking, and traveling in general.  Since I grew up about an hour north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, I am a huge Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan. I live with my wife in Demorest, and we will be celebrating our 7 year anniversary this October. We have a dog named Tiana and a cat named ZuZu.
